Lupton Dermatology Joins The Skin Surgery Center
It is our great pleasure to announce that Lupton Dermatology & Skin Care Center joined The Skin Surgery Center on November 1, 2016. Lupton Dermatology will be known as Lupton Dermatology, an affiliate of The Skin Surgery Center. The location, staff, and phone number remain the same. Lupton Dermatology was founded in 1950 by Dr. Emmett Lupton and has a long history of providing exceptional dermatology care and aesthetic services to generations of patients in Greensboro and the surrounding communities. Fred Lupton, MD, began his practice in 1990 and looks forward to continuing service to his patient family. We are proud and humbled to carry on this legacy and believe that the affiliation with The Skin Surgery Center will afford Lupton Dermatology the opportunity to offer additional services to its patients at the highest levels of quality and professionalism.
Dr. Fred Lupton has been practicing dermatology for more than 25 years and joined Lupton Dermatology in 1990.
He earned his medical degree from Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University and received his bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University.
Dr. Lupton completed his residency in Dermatology at University Hospitals of Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Lupton is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He also held office as the Past President of the North Carolina Dermatology Association.
Dena Anderson, PA-C has practiced with Lupton Dermatology since 2008. She has been a Physician’s Assistant since 1997 and has practiced general dermatology for almost 15 years.
Dena earned her Physician Assistant degree at Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada.
Dena is a member of the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
English Black, PA-C joined Lupton Dermatology in August. She has been a Physician’s Assistant since 2002 and has practiced general dermatology for 10 years.
English earned her Physician Assistant degree at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.
English is a member of the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants and is a Diplomat with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Katrina Guilford, Licensed Aesthetician joined Lupton Dermatology in 2013 and has focused her career on aesthetics since 2013. Katrina is a graduate of the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY, and she completed her aesthetic training at Leon’s Beauty College in Greensboro, NC. She is a member of the Associated Skin Care Professionals.
Katrina is passionate about educating patients on skin care and helping her clients develop a plan to address their specific needs. She values relationships and takes pride in catering treatments to an individual’s skin care goals. She is certified and specializes in medical grade chemical peels, microdermabrasion and intense pulsed light (IPL) treatments, such as photofacials and non-ablative fractional resurfacing. She is certified in SkinPenTM microneedling.
